I am so happy that I have seen those very places that you have in your photos - seen them with you, in fact, along with the nearly invisible ferry in the fog that one day. As for your definitions, my own private brain is quite empty with regard to immanence; with regard to eminence, maybe standing out; with regard to imminence, maybe nearby or near in time? Immanence surely means something that flows out from something, but how to actually define it my own private brain does not have enough of a clue.
I think you're not alone on the "immanence" front, my friend. But these are good efforts overall, and I appreciate your participation despite your uncertainty. I hope to let your own private brain in on the definition in my next edition.
And Thank You Again for coming with me to see those places. Such loveliness, even in the fog.
Well, you're kind. I don't know how one "gets" to make the claim: "I am a theologian." It took me very many years to claim, "I am a writer," so maybe I need to wait awhile longer on the theologian front. ?
Immanence: about to happen (as in, His immanent return)
I'm scratching the dry corners on my mind on this one. And I'm sure I'm wrong. I did NOT know there were 3 of these words, and now I've just said them to myself more times than ever before.
Sarah, you're going to be very pleased with your answers when the newsletter comes out on Monday! You're not correct here, but you're going to be pleased, I promise.
And thank you for saying I'm a theologian. That's very kind.
eminence: a little-known collaboration between the rapper Eminem and the rock band Evanescence
imminence: anagram of "icemen in me"
immanence: slang for "I am going to announce," as in "Immanence my intention to play basketball at Duke University."
You are brilliant, hilarious, and incorrect.
Hahahaha
Eminence- something regarding presence? Either that or the Eminem/evanescence thing, which would likely be awesome.
Imminence- gonna happen soon, probably.
Immanence- I don't know but it reminds me of the immaculate conception. I don't have a masters degree.
You're 100% on one, maybe 12% on another one, and fascinating on a third. Thank you for participating, even without a masters degree. :)

Thanks for taking me to Long Island. I’ve never been.
Oh, you are so very welcome. Thank you for coming along.
I agree w Sarah: you are a theologian.

I felt more sure about these definitions last time!
Eminence: having regal prestige
Imminence: happening very soon or almost right this moment
Immanence: having to do with an internal quality of light or truth
Very good! I can't say you've hit it exactly with "immanence," but you're the closest anyone has come....
Oh ho! That’s nice.
Eminence: greatness
Imminence: presence
Immanence: about to happen (as in, His immanent return)

PS - You are a theologian.
