Febtigue. The time of year that homeschoolers everywhere hit a slump. They have not made the progress they hoped for. They think of changing curriculum. They dream of the big yellow school bus.
This may lack the originality of other comments.... but I am thinking Junecation for my mash up. The delicious feeling you get at the end of the school year of having all of summer vacation stretching out before you!
I have not been creative and thought of a month mash up. BUT I do have a burning curiosity question! What is the most remarkable teacher gift you've ever received???
That's a great question! I have a pair of earrings that are parrots swinging on perches. Something out of The Magic School Bus, perfect for its science teaching heroine, Ms. Frizzle!
End of school year, we had a field day called the Jesus Retreat in Barton Road Park. A woodsy campground with one open field for kickball. I remember sitting on top of the picnic tables feeling happy about the day, in spite of sunburn and mosquitoes. And so happy about the looming summer.
Thank you for making me look into the cobwebbed corners of time. It took me a few minutes to bring this back!
So many great ideas!! I am late to the party, but I’ll make this offer: Januwake, for the month when I start watering my begonia bulbs and they begin to come back to life!
Droptober, the time of the semester when you realize you're going to get a terrible grade in Organic Chemistry
This is very hilarious.

Dreams of the big yellow school bus, indeed! Brilliant!

This is one of my favorite times!
Squashtober, when it's appropriate to make fall foods with Garam Masala
And nutmeg and cinnamon
Ooh, yes. A delicious time of year!

Januly, the times of the year when you stay inside hoping for the weather to change.
Excellent. I know these seasons we'll!
Nope. WELL.
Stupid autocorrect

My pleasure! The anticipation, that "Junecation" feeling, is almost as good as the summer itself!
